To Promote Tourism, Maharashtra State Tourism Corporation (MTDC) has given licenses under the ‘Bed & Breakfast’ Scheme to the property owner willing to share a part & to have tourists.

This has given a further boost to tourism in Alibag. Hence many people Started Guest House / Cottages in their garden & planted trees like Coconut, Betel Nuts, Mango in Agriculture farm.

Alibag Krishi Parytan Vikas Sanstha is an organization founded by the owner & Guest Houses / Cottages between Alibag and Mandva and all are registered with ‘MTDC’.
