We had been to Kunte Baug January 2013 for 2 nights and the place was quite pleasant and peaceful to stay. The food was quite good and the hosts were very helpful in chalking out the sight seeing for us. The rooms are clean though the wash basin in Room No. 1 where we stayed was choked and the room needed some dusting and it was not worked upon. However, barring these couple of things, the rooms are clean. The place in front of the room is a good place to sit and relax and have your dinner in natural surrounding. Overall, a good place to stay if you are looking for a home stay.

Kunte Baug is an excellent experience beyond boundaries of hospitality. It is a pleasurable experience for those who want to visit a place away from the busy schedules of city life. One must experience it to take a break from routine life.

Hotel rooms are amongst mango and beetlenut trees. Peaceful place to relax and spend a day. Location is near to the beach. (By the way the beach is very rocky, not good). We just wanted to relax in konkan nd have good food, beach was not the criteria. Staff is very friendly and food was good. Its a home converted to bed and breakfast. Overall food was good and Fish was excellent. Rooms are not that great, dont expect too much. Rooms are AC so that way comfortable. Bisleri water is available. Get your own booze, if you plan to have a drink or two. Liquor is not availbale near atleast 20 kms.
